What Happened When CM Punk Met Judgment Day On WWE Raw

Find out what happened when CM Punk met Judgment Day on WWE Raw in a backstage segment and later what Judgment Day had to say.

CM Punk has already had quite the night after meeting face-to-face in an in-ring segment with Seth Rollins, signing with WWE Raw and declaring himself an entrant in the Royal Rumble.

Next up, continued strolling with a camera backstage where he met up with Judgment Day for the first time.

In the backstage run-in, Punk was all smiles as he greeted the male members of the squad, with Punk asking where Rhea Ripley was.

However, they did not seem amused as Damian Priest initially greeted Punk only to hope that he did win the Royal Rumble and a title, holding up his Señor Money in the Bank briefcase, noting that then he could cash it in on Punk!

With the Judgment Day going on to have an in-ring segment, Damian Priest and Finn Balor took out their aggression with a ‘simple message for every WWE superstar’.

Damian Priest said that everyone, existing, returning or new to the roster was ‘put on notice’.

However the segment was shortly thereafter interrupted by R-Truth who emerged with some holiday lights, noting that he attempted to stop by the Judgment Day Clubhouse and it had new locks.

Inviting R-Truth into the ring, Damian Priest was open to hearing what Truth had to say despite JD McDonagh’s protests.

While he shared some valuable ideas, the segment would end with Priest asking the crowd how much they loved Truth only to attack him.

Out ran the Creed Brothers to make the save as the tag title contenders took out the entire faction to save R-Truth.

As for CM Punk, he later ran into Drew McIntyre backstage, and it was announced that McIntyre would be challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on the ‘Day 1’ edition of Raw on January 1.
