What Happened During Sting’s Final AEW Dynamite Appearance AEW

Find out what happened during Sting’s final appearance on AEW Dynamite tonight ahead of his final match on Sunday.

Heading into Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution on Sunday, the Icon wasn’t easy to find throughout the show as his opponents the Young Bucks searched for him.

With a throwback to Sting’s final appearance on WCW Nitro by having his personal locker room decorated with the menacing sight of hanging baseball bats, Nicholas and Matthew continued to search for Sting to no avail.

When they would later come to the ring, there was a row of fans at ringside wearing Sting masks however one in particular stood out.

Ripping off the mask to reveal himself, Darby Allin then attacked the Young Bucks, alone.

When the EVPs had Darby downed in a corner, they called out Ric Flair who seemingly had joined them in a dastardly alliance.

However in the end, Flair would strike the Bucks, not Darby, and would end up delivering a few chops before being taken down by a low blow from Nicholas.

When Sting’s music hit, the EVPs walked up the ramp to catch Sting immediately but what they didn’t anticipate is that he would be arriving from above.

Making one last dissension from the rafters on television in his career, Sting came down from the ceiling and popped up behind the Young Bucks.

Sting, Darby and even Ric Flair would beat down the Young Bucks as the two tag teams head on a collision course for this Sunday’s pay-per-view AEW Revolution.

Sting and Darby Allin will defend their AEW Tag Team Championship against Nicholas and Matthew Jackson on Sunday March 3 at AEW Revolution.
