An AEW star has commented on Bryan Danielson wrestling with a broken arm at Forbidden Door.
Many wrestling fans have called Bryan Danielson the greatest professional wrestler of all time, but his performance in the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door main event was one that further solidified his legacy.
At the event, Danielson defeated Kazuchika Okada despite suffering what he believed was a fractured arm. X-rays went on to reveal that Bryan had actually broken his arm during the bout.
Appearing on the Battleground Podcast, Danielson’s Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Wheeler Yuta commented on Bryan wrestling through the injury. Yuta said:
“Bryan (Danielson) told me one time because we always like to joke that he’s invincible and I think he is and he told me one time that being invincible doesn’t mean that you can’t get hurt, you can’t get injured, that things won’t go wrong.”
“It just means that all that can happen and you’re gonna do it anyways. You’re going to push through and do it anyways and that’s what he did (at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door).”
Wheeler Yuta is set to face Kenny Omega in another BCC vs. The Elite showdown on the July 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
