Why Randy Orton Didn’t RKO Rhea Ripley Revealed WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Bob Orton has revealed the reason why Randy Orton didn’t RKO Rhea Ripley on Monday’s Raw.

On the November 27 edition of WWE Raw, Randy Orton made his first appearance on the show since May 2022. He was interrupted by WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.

Despite tensions riding high during the exchange between the two, there was no physicality between Orton and Ripley.

However, “The Apex Predator” did drop JD McDonagh with the RKO to end the segment.

Speaking with Bill Apter on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Randy’s father “Cowboy” Bob Orton discussed his return to the ring. Mentioning the segment with Ripley, he said:

“He’s a gentleman. I thought there might have been a chance. He’s pretty darn good. I’m telling you he’s been training hard. So he’s gonna be hard to handle.”

Randy Orton is scheduled to appear on tonight’s December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown.
