Women’s Tag Team Match Added To August 12 AEW Collision

A women’s tag team match has been added to the August 12 edition of AEW Collision.

On the August 5 episode of AEW Collision, Kris Statlander defeated Mercedes Martinez to retain the TBS Championship.

Following the bout, Martinez attacked Statlander until Diamante came down to seemingly make the save, but she then aligned with Mercedes to attack the TBS Champion until Willow Nightingale made the real save.

Later in the show, AEW announced that Kris Statlander would team up with Willow Nightingale to face Mercedes Martinez and Diamante in tag team action on next Saturday’s August 12 edition of AEW Collision.

These four women’s battle will most likely lead to whatever is next for Statlander following her latest successful title defense.

Also announced for this Saturday’s show, House of Black will defend the AEW World Trios Championships against CMFTR (CM Punk and FTR).
