An AEW star has addressed the absence of a comedic addition to her on-screen character.
During her feud with Mercedes Moné in the Spring of 2025, Harley Cameron introduced fans to Mini Moné – a puppet version of the then AEW TBS Champion.
The puppetry tied in to Cameron’s legitimate background in performing ventriloquism and only helped her gain popularity with the fans, however, it has been some time since we’ve seen it on TV.
Speaking with TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Cameron was asked whether Tony Khan was responsible for the puppet’s absence, to which Cameron replied:
“No, I will say this. Tony Khan has been nothing but supportive and encouraging for all of the crazy various things that I do that a lot of the people never thought would go into wrestling.
“So, no one’s holding anything back, if anything I’ve been allowed to showcase everything because of him and his blessing and ideas with the creative ways we’ve gone with work and the storyline.
“I think that it’s important to not overdo it. I think things come and go and it’s definitely not over in the realm of things that I can do, but I think that it’s really important to make sure that we remember wrestling’s the focus and then I can add these wonderful other quirky things that I think work with the show as long as they fit.
“But they’re definitely not gone, you just got to be patient because good things come when we wait.”

While Cameron failed to dethrone Mercedes Moné as AEW TBS Champion when they met in the ring at Grand Slam Australia one year ago, her Babes of Wrath tag team partner Willow Nightingale recently managed to do just that – ending The CEO’s 584 day reign on the December 31 episode of AEW Dynamite.
