Amazing Behind The Scenes Video Shows Close Up Of Andrade’s Mask WWE

A recently shared video shows the making of Andrade’s mask for his return at WWE Royal Rumble on January 27, 2024.

Andrade made his return during the men’s Royal Rumble match following his departure from AEW after Worlds End in December 2023.

Footage from his return as entrant number four can be seen below this news story.

Andrade sported a black mask with a stylised gold ‘crown’ and the mask maker has revealed how it was made in a video that can also be seen below.

Rockwell Masks shared the video on their official TikTok account, with the message:

“This new mask for @AndradeElIdolo / @WWE was debuted on #royalrumble last night as Andrade made his return.

“Loved making this mask for him, featuring a hand-sculpted crown gilded in genuine 24k gold leaf. Watch til the end to see the final piece.”

The video shows the mask being constructed by hand, with individual panels being stitched together to form the initial structure.

From there, we see the mask maker craft the elements, including the skeleton crown from metal coating in what appears to be a clay-like substance.

The finger bones of the skeletal crown are then sculpted before it’s attached to the mask which is then painted black.

Gold leaf is then meticulously applied to the crown and as accents to the face of the mask to finish the impressive work of art.
