WWE stars Angel, Berto & Karmen Petrovic have commented following the reformation of the Los Perros Del Mal faction during last night’s episode of AAA on FOX.

The June 20 episode of AAA on FOX saw a shock conclusion when AAA Mega Champion number one contender El Grande Americano was taken out by Karmen Petrovic, Angel, Berto, Bronco Nima and Daga. After the attack, all five stars unzipped their hoodies to reveal Los Perros Del Mal t-shirts, eliciting a massive response from the Mérida crowd.

In their first comments since joining Los Perros Del Mal, Angel & Berto individually took their respective Instagram Stories to comment, with Berto repeating the group’s slogan:

“Where are the dogs?”

Angel, who raised some eyebrows regarding his future in WWE last month following a cryptic “thank you” message, wrote:

WWE NXT’s Karmen Petrovic, who was the first of the five to be shown on TV before Los Perros Del Mal’s attack of El Grande Americano, took to Twitter to write:

it’s bigger than just wrestling gracias a Dios (Thank God)

The original Los Perros Del Mal disbanded following Perro Aguayo Jr’s tragic passing in 2015, with the group formerly housing notable former members such as current WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta and Hector Garza, the uncle of now current Los Perros Del Mal members Angel & Berto.

While Berto and Angel have family ties to Los Perros Del Mal, and have been paying tribute to the group’s logo with the claw marks on their chest for several years, Daga is the only of the five current members to have been a part of the group in the past.

One of Daga’s former Los Perros Del Mal stablemates Taya Valkyrie gave fans a reminder of the group’s “deep” history in AAA, and paid tribute to the late Perro Aguayo for his influence on her career.

Posting on Twitter, she wrote:

For those that don’t know the history, it goes deep. What we made, what we created, the cheers, the boos, the impact that Perros del Mal had on lucha libre history is undeniable.

@SoyHijoDelPerro created a movement and I wouldn’t be where I am without him.

Learn about the history and enjoy it. Because I will always treasure @PerrosdelMalMx. It was magic

As was confirmed by Rey Mysterio during week two of AAA Noche De Los Grandes, AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio will defend his title during Night Two of AAA TripleMania 34 on September 13.

While it remains to be seen if he will receive his title shot at TripleMania, El Grande Americano is the number one contender after winning the 2026 Rey de Reyes.

Rey Mysterio had another big announcement during last night’s AAA on FOX, as he revealed the promotion are close to agreeing a deal with a former WWE World Champion who’s never wrestled in the promotion before.
