Paige has pre-warned fans that some tears could be flowing when she returns to London for tomorrow’s June 21 episode of WWE Raw.

In what will be the go-home show before the WWE Raw locker room heads to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions on Saturday, the June 22 episode of Raw will see two tag team championships on the line, with The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory) defending the World Tag Team Titles against the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and Paige & Brie Bella defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.

While Lyra Valkyria has vowed that her and Bayley will “finally” take home the gold on Monday, for Paige, the match will have even greater importance and emotional weight, as it will be her first return home to England since re-signing with WWE in April.

Taking to Twitter after touching down in England, Paige expressed her gratitude for having the opportunity to wrestle alongside Brie in her home country, while also warning that some tears could be shed when she makes her entrance.

Paige wrote:

Man I feel so grateful. Landing in England and knowing tomorrow I get to walk out there and wrestle in front of my home country with the @WWE
and my girl @NikkiAndBrie

Feels so good to be home, apologies in advance if there’s tears in my entrance

With Paige retiring from in-ring competition in early 2018, Paige hasn’t wrestled in front of a London crowd since the April 21, 2016 episode of SmackDown, where she and Natalya defeated Tamina and Naomi in tag team action.

Although it won’t be something WWE reference on their programming, Paige did have one of the most memorable moments of her career take place in London, when she won the AEW Women’s World Title in Wembley Stadium at All In London 2023.

Paige would also appeared at the following year’s All In London event, albeit during the pre-show, as she was confronted by her compatriot Jamie Hayter – who was returning from a lengthy injury hiatus.

What Will Come Of Paige’s Alliance With Brie Bella Once Nikki Bella Returns?

Nikki Bella suffering a broken ankle led to Paige returning to WWE at WrestleMania 42, with the Hall of Famer hand-picking the former two-time Divas Champion to replace her and team with Brie.

While Nikki seemed genuinely happy to see Paige win the WWE Women’s Tag Titles with her sister, one must imagine that her desire to see The Bella Twins finally hold the gold together won’t have gone anywhere when she returns.

With Nikki speaking openly about her preference to play a heel role in WWE, it seems like everything is set up forThe Bellas to turn on Paige when Nikki returns from injury.

With fans keen to see Paige reunite with AJ Lee in some fashion, perhaps a Bella Twins vs. Paige & AJ Lee WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match would be enough to coax AJ back into a WWE ring once again.
