Major WWE Star Applauds NXT’s Carmelo Hayes Heel Turn

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has applauded NXT’s Carmelo Hayes following his recent character change.

Hayes turned heel in the closing moments of NXT Vengeance Day, attacking his friend Trick Williams’ following Williams coming up short in the main event against NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov.

Carmelo Hayes appeared on Tuesday’s (February 6) edition of NXT to reveal that he was the mystery assailant who also attacked Williams back in October 2023.

While the NXT fans weren’t pleased, Rhea Ripley has now taken to social media to praise Carmelo Hayes.

Ripley shared USA Network’s tweet about Hayes attacking Trick Williams at Vengeance Day, captioning the post with one emoji:

Ripley has been wreaking havoc on behalf of the Judgment Day since May 2022.

Williams has made several main roster appearances in recent months, most recently competing in the Royal Rumble match on January 27.

This was notably the match in which CM Punk competed, and tore his tricep.

With CM Punk confirming that he’ll be missing months of action due to his injury, the former WWE Champion underwent surgery last week.
