Find out if Baron Corbin won the WWE NXT Championship from Ilja Dragunov at Deadline, the last WWE premium live event of 2023.
Packed full of newsworthy events from the top of the show with a rare NXT appearance from CM Punk in an in-ring segment with Shawn Michaels all the way through the end, NXT Deadline is in the books.
In the main event of WWE NXT Deadline, Ilja Dragunov took on Baron Corbin for Dragunov’s NXT Championship.
After a special entrance from Corbin (featuring a motorcycle ride-in), in the end Ilja Dragunov would retain his NXT Championship to close out the premium live event.
After the win, Trick Williams intruded on Dragunov’s in-ring celebration as he made his entrance and had a stare down with the champ.
Carmelo Hayes also came out (albeit slightly behind Trick) as the show went off the air for the night.
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Trick Williams won the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match, granting him a title shot at the champ at NXT New Years Evil.
