WWE is potentially signing another Bloodline family member ahead of tonight’s WrestleMania 40 night two event.
Tonight’s show is set to feature a ‘Bloodline Rules’ main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship following Roman and The Rock’s win over Cody and Seth Rollins last night.
However, it turns out the main event could feature a rather interesting appearance from a current big free agent, who claims to have signed with WWE.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Jacob Fatu has told others that he has signed with WWE, as of this past Wednesday, which led to him being pulled from a scheduled GCW appearance last night.
Sean Ross Sapp followed up with people in WWE, but they wouldn’t confirm the news, though several in GCW were discussing the rumours backstage on Saturday.
Corey Brennan of Fightful also noted that those within WWE NXT have also not heard this as of yet.
Fatu is the cousin of the Usos, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns, so a potential WWE debut has been speculated for a long time, especially given the nature of tonight’s main event.
We will of course keep you posted with any further updates.
