Planned WWE Celebrity Appearance Canceled

Planned WWE Celebrity Appearance Canceled WWE

A planned WWE appearance for a big sporting name has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict with an upcoming tournament.

A major story in sports earlier this year was the rise of Luke Littler, who got to the final of the PDC World Darts Championship at the age of 16.

It was such a big story that even John Cena reacted, as did WWE itself, inviting him to attend a show in London on April 19.

At the time, Littler accepted that invitation, but he’s had to pull out.

That’s because he’s qualified for the PDC European Darts Grand Prix, which takes place in Sindelfingen, Germany starting on the same day as the aforementioned WWE show in London.

Littler tweeted:

Thanks for the invite but because i have qualified for @OfficialPDC @PDCEurope Euro Tour 4 that weekend in Germany 🎯 i won’t be able to make it Hopefully u can still hit Greenlight though 😉👍🏻

The European Darts Grand Prix will be the fourth event on this year’s PDC European Tour – Littler won the first event, the Belgian Darts Open, in his Euro Tour debut.

He didn’t qualify for the second event, the German Darts Grand Prix which was won by Luke Humphries, nor did he qualify for the third event, the International Darts Open, which takes place the weekend starting April 12.

Earlier in the day, Littler had tweeted a video on the anniversary of WrestleMania 33 of Pitbull’s performance of Greenlight, which Littler now uses as his walk-on music.
