A WWE championship was vacated on the August 18 episode of Raw in Philadelphia, with a star noting they’ll be taking a break from the ring.

Having held the Women’s World Championship since WWE Evolution on July 13, Naomi has now officially vacated the title.

Speaking in the ring, Naomi would reveal that the legendary Bloodline family tree will continue, announcing her pregnancy.

As can be seen in the clip below this news story (and shared here on Twitter), Naomi made it clear that she may be taking time off, but warned the rest of the women’s roster that she will be back and will be ready to pick up where she left off.

During a special episode of What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, Naomi would reveal that she was, at the time of recording, seven weeks pregnant.

Naomi was last in action at WWE SummerSlam on August 3, retaining the Women’s World Championship in a Triple Threat match against IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley.

The now-former WWE Women’s World Champion would also speak about being in the high-risk category due to her previously discussed health issues, which had previously seen Naomi discuss the possibility of retirement.

Triple H has also shared his congratulations on Twitter, along with a short video showing the reception that Naomi received when she returned backstage, posting:

“Couldn’t be happier for @TheTrinity_Fatu & Jimmy @WWEUsos!

“Some things matter more than championships. #WWERaw”

In the wake of her pregnancy announcement, Becky Lynch and Jade Cargill were among the stars to share their congratulations.

Michael Cole would go on to state we’ll likely learn more next week about how the new champion will be decided, with Stephanie Vaquer still owed the title match that was set to take place at WWE Clash In Paris.

We’ll keep you posted with further updates as they emerge.

We send our congratulations to Naomi, Jimmy Uso and the newest member of their family!
