WWE Championship Match Seemingly Confirmed For WrestleMania 40 Sunday

WWE US Champion Logan Paul appears to have confirmed which day his title match will be at WrestleMania 40.

It was announced during Friday’s (March 15) edition of SmackDown that Paul will defend his US Title in a three way match against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at the upcoming premium live event.

With WrestleMania 40 spanning two days (April 6 to 7), Paul has now revealed which day he will be in action.

The influencer took to Instagram to share photos from his busy week. He summarised his achievements in the post’s caption, where he revealed that he will be wrestling on WrestleMania 40 Sunday.

Logan Paul noted the following as one of the things that happened to him this past week:

– Announced a Triple Threat match against Randy Orton & Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania (April 7)

Other achievements Paul named included his PRIME Hydration brand becoming WWE’s first centre-ring sponsor.

Logan Paul has held the US Championship since November 2023, with the crossover star defeating Rey Mysterio for the gold at Crown Jewel 2023.

He last defended the gold at January’s Royal Rumble event against Kevin Owens, with Paul winning via disqualification.

Paul last wrestled in last month’s Elimination Chamber match, during which he was eliminated by Randy Orton, before interfering to cost Orton the match.

While it hasn’t been confirmed, it is expected that Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship will also take place on WrestleMania 40 Sunday as both stars are also set to compete in a tag-team match also at WrestleMania, with The Rock and Reigns to battle Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
