WWE has taken to social media to confirm a huge former champion will be on commentary for tonight’s episode of NXT on the USA Network.
The official NXT Twitter account has uploaded a video confirming that Stu Bennett, AKA Wade Barrett, will be joining Vic Joseph tonight.
Barrett became a five-time Intercontinental Champion and the 2015 King of the Ring winner before leaving WWE in 2016. He also won the first ever season of NXT in 2010 when it was a game show.
He has provided commentary for a number of different promotions since leaving WWE, with the most recent notable example being NWA Powerrr when he replaced Jim Cornette.
