Top WWE Star Signs New Contract

Top WWE Star Signs New Contract WWE

A top WWE star has reflected on a great year to date and confirmed that he has signed a new contract with the company.

Judgment Day member Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania after McIntyre himself had only won the World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins moments earlier.

Speaking in a WWE Digital Exclusive on April 8, 2024, Priest revealed that he has signed a new contract, saying:

“This has been already a great year for me.

“New contract, new title, new theme song.”

When he revealed his “new contract” news, he gave a nod to the camera, before continuing to speak, as can be seen below this news story.

He would also confirm that he provided vocals for his new entrance theme.

Priest signed with WWE in October 2018 and made his on-screen NXT debut in a taping on December 5 of that year.

He is a former NXT North American Champion and has also held the WWE United States Championship.

Alongside Finn Balor, the pair have held the WWE Tag Team Championships which were split as a result of the Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder match at WrestleMania 40.

A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) are now the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions with The Awesome Truth (The Miz & R-Truth) holding WWE Raw Tag Team Championships.

Priest’s first title defense will be against Jey Uso who was able to secure his number one contendership in the main event of WWE Raw thanks to CM Punk.
