Popular WWE Star Makes Cameo Appearance For Another Company

WWE Raw star Shinsuke Nakamura made a video appearance for the live crowd at this weekend’s DDT Pro Wrestling show.

Sunday’s (November 12) DDT Pro Ultimate Party 2023 event marked the end of an era, with Saki Akai wrestling her retirement match, wrapping up her 12 year career.

A video package paying tribute to Akai was aired during the show, featuring video messages from a number of top stars.

One of these videos, which only some people got to see, was from WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura, who shared a message while standing in front of a WWE Raw logo.

This pre-recorded message was only shown to fans who were in the live crowd, with viewers on Wrestle Universe instead having their stream muted and moving to another camera view.

Nakamura recently had a main event push, challenging for Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship in the headline matches of the recent Payback and Fastlane WWE Premium Live Events.

The Japanese star recently stated that he’s looking for new competition in WWE.

He most recently wrestled on the November 6 edition of Raw, defeating Akira Tozawa in singles action.

Nakamura is set to face Otis on Monday’s Raw show.
