WWE Star Comments On ‘Most Fulfilling’ Anniversary After Criticized Main Roster Run WWE

Dijak has commented on the anniversary of his return to WWE NXT after a main roster run that wasn’t well received.

Debuting in 2017, Dijak would make an impact in NXT before moving the main roster in 2020.

No longer Dominik Dijakovic, he would be the masked T-Bar of Retribution, alongside Mace, Slapjack, Reckoning and Retaliation and led by Mustafa Ali.

The faction wasn’t well received with Ali going on to reveal what he saw as the creative flaw in the plan.

While Mace would go on to find a degree of popularity as ma.çé as part of Maximum Male Models, Dijak would find himself on WWE Main Event for much of 2022.

On October 25, this all changed when a return to WWE NXT would be revealed, burning the T-Bar mask in a vignette.

A year later, Dijak has commented on his return to the brand, tweeting:

“It’s been one year since we officially began what has turned out to be the most fulfilling year of my entire career. I am forever grateful to @ShawnMichaels, @TripleH, and everybody in @WWENXT for helping us bring this vision to life. Thanks everyone, we are just getting started.”

The former Mace was released on September 21 alongside his Maximum Male Models teammate Mansoor (mån.sôör).

Slapjack (better known as Shane Thorne or Shane Haste) was released in November 2021.

Reckoning returned to being Mia Yim following her November 2021 release, returning to WWE in November 2022 and adopting the nickname Michin, whilst Retaliation is better known as Mercedes Martinez and is currently signed with AEW, mostly appearing on ROH.
