Ex-WWE Star Accuses WWE Of ‘Dropping The F**king Ball’ With Faction WWE

Big Damo, the former Killian Dain, has accused WWE of dropping the ball when it came to the faction known as SAnitY.

SAnitY were introduced in October 2016 and initially comprised of Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Sawyer Fulton and Nikki Cross.

Dain was added to the group in January 2017 after Fulton suffered an injury.

Getting their collective start in WWE NXT, the group would see championship gold when Young and Wolfe became NXT Tag Team Champions at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III in August 2017.

Speaking to PROGRESS Wrestling ahead of SAnitY’s reunion in the promotion at the VENDETTA show in November, Big Damo gave his thoughts on WWE’s handling of SAnitY, saying:

“When I look back it was the best time of my professional life. Incredible matches, fans got so behind us.

“There are days I just can’t understand…. You know what I’m wound up now. Let’s put all cards on the table.

“WWE dropped the f**king ball with SAnitY. Three world class wrestlers who can literally walk into any company and dominate.

“The three of us have been World Champions since leaving WWE. That doesn’t happen by accident.

“So fair play to PROGRESS, WWE’s loss is their gain and we are going to put on one hell of a show when we get together. We cannot wait to show WWE exactly what they are missing…”

Nikki Cross was effectively split from the group when the 2018 WWE Superstar Shake-Up saw her remain on NXT while Young, Dain and Wolfe were called up to SmackDown.

Young would be drafted to Raw during the following year’s Shake-Up, bringing the group to the end.

Dain went back to NXT as a singles wrestler, and Alexander Wolfe landed in NXT UK as a member of Imperium.

Eric Young would be released in April 2020, returning in November 2022 only to request and be granted his release in April 2023, with reports stating that he didn’t want to work in WWE with Vince McMahon.

Alexander Wolfe was released from WWE in May 2021, while Dain’s release would come in June of that year.

Nikki Cross continues to be a member of the WWE main roster, having become WWE Raw Women’s Champion and a three-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, along with being the final 24/7 Champion having held that title on eleven occasions.

This past Monday on Raw, she abandoned Natalya during a tag team match against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.
