Per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed for an interesting new trademark.
On Sunday (January 7), WWE filed an application to to trademark the term ‘FINAL TESTAMENT’.
The filing indicates that WWE intends to use this term for ‘wrestling exhibitions by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media’.
The following description accompanied the filing:
Wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service;
providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and sports entertainment via an online community portal
While there hasn’t been any confirmation how WWE will use this term, it has been heavily speculated that this could be the name of Karrion Kross’ new faction.
Kross aligned himself with Akam and Rezar of the Authors of Pain on the January 5 ‘New Year’s Revolution’ edition of SmackDown, with the trio targeting Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits.
