WWE Files Trademark For Legend’s Son’s New Ring Name WWE

WWE have filed a trademark for a legend’s son’s brand new ring name with the United States Patent Office (USPTO).

Following his TV debut against Shawn Spears at NXT Roadblock (March 5), WWE have filed a trademark for fourth-generation star Brogan Finlay’s new ring name: Uriah Connors.

The trademark was filed under primary classes of Education and Entertainment as well as Advertising and Business.

URIAH CONNORS™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Connors is the son of WWE and WCW legend Fit Finlay and brother of NJPW star David Finlay.

The 21-year-old made his wrestling debut in April 2021, competing on the independent scene for promotions such as GCW, before signing with WWE in December 2023.
