WWE Star Has First Match Since ‘Gruesome’ Injury

WWE Star Has First Match Since ‘Gruesome’ Injury WWE

A WWE star has had his first match since suffering a ‘gruesome’ post-match storyline injury a number of weeks ago.

Back on September 5, there was a memorable angle on NXT TV as Bron Breakker crushed Von Wagner’s head with the ringside steel steps.

The spot came after a series of vignettes detailed Wagner’s real life stories of childhood skull surgeries due to a rare medical condition.

Tonight, Von Wagner made his in-ring return as he had a match against Bron Breakker, his attacker during the aforementioned angle.

While Von Wagner was attempting to seek retribution and revenge on tonight’s show, unfortunately the match would not end in his favor.

After a distraction on the outside that saw Breakker spear Wagner’s manager Robert Stone at ringside, he then would get Von Wagner in the ring where Breakker would capture pinfall victory.

However despite the win in the match, when Stone hit Breakker with a chair, it distracted him to the outside of the ring.

This led to a moment that Von Wagner made good on his promise to send Breakker through the commentary table as Mr. Stone cheered him on.

The pair embraced after the match, seemingly pleased with the outcome despite the loss of the match, as Wagner in the end got his revenge.

Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, Carmelo Hayes is set to come face to face with Trick Williams and there was an intriguing backstage tease. You can read more about a potential new Bloodline member by clicking this link.
