WWE Friday Night SmackDown FOX Premiere Viewership

The numbers are in for last night’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown premiere on FOX. The show drew 3.869 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.

This, as expected, is a significant rise to what the show was doing on the USA Network. The final USA show last week drew 2.099 million, meaning this week’s was an 84% increase.

To compare to the rest of this week’s big shows, here’s how they did:

  • WWE Raw (USA Network) – 2.571 million
  • AEW: Dynamite (TNT) – 1.4 million
  • WWE NXT (USA Network) – 891,000
  • WWE Friday Night SmackDown (FOX) – 3.869 million

Last night’s show had some big moments. Brock Lesnar defeated Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship in under 10 seconds before being attacked by Cain Velasquez.

Tyson Fury also confronted Braun Strowman, an angle which will continue on this coming Monday’s Raw.
