WWE Hall Of Famer Claims AEW Collision ‘Blows Dynamite Away’

WWE Hall Of Famer Claims AEW Collision ‘Blows Dynamite Away’ AEW

AEW launched it’s new Saturday Night Collision show this past weekend, which featured the return to the company of CM Punk, who had not been seen since the now infamous All Out media scrum.

Punk wasn’t the only AEW star to return on the show, as it also featured the returns of both Miro and Andrade El Idolo.

Andrade took on the House of Black’s Buddy Matthews on the show in a match that was highly praised by both fans and those within wrestling.

One man who was impressed by Andrade’s performance is his father-in-law, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who spoke about Collision and Andrade’s return on his To Be The Man podcast.

Flair put over Andrade as ‘top ten’ in the wrestling business, before claiming that Collision ‘blows Dynamite away’.

He said:

“What a match. Unbelievable. He stole it. I texted Tony. They stole it. I don’t know what direction he’s going in next, but man, it’s just gotta be positive for him. He reiterated the fact that he, it’s hard to say top five because there’s so many, but he is for sure in the top ten in terms of performers in our business, without a doubt. If I watch that match back, I say he’s in the top five.

“But man, they killed it. Buddy [Matthews] did a hell of a job as well. That whole new show, it had a whole new look. To me, it blows Dynamite away.”

Both Ric and Charlotte Flair took to Twitter to praise Andrade’s performance on Collision shortly after his match on the show was over.

The ratings for the debut episode of Collision have officially been revealed.
