WWE Hall Of Famer Refuses To Rule Out In-Ring Return WWE

A WWE Hall of Famer has refused to rule out a surprise in-ring return, almost six years on from calling time on his active in-ring career.

Never say never is something we hear a lot in the world of wrestling, and while a bit cliche it’s an adage that remains true, with the WWE return of CM Punk being one notable example.

Well, one former WWE rival of Punk from his initial run in the company had exactly that to say when quizzed about a potential in-ring return in the future.

Yes, former two-time world champion Glenn Jacobs, AKA Kane, recently spoke with David Gornoski and a return to the ring was brought up, to which Jacobs admitted it was unlikely to happen, but refused to say no full stop.

Jacobs said:

“(I’m) probably not getting in the ring. I watched now and I’m amazed at how athletic everybody is, I don’t think my body could take that kind of punishment anymore.

“But we always say ‘never say never’, so I leave the door open to many different things.”

Kane called time on his active in-ring career in 2018, but would go on to make a cameo appearance in the 2021 WWE Royal Rumble, a match that he still holds the all-time appearance record in.

Jacobs currently serves as mayor of Knox County Tennessee, and recently even exchanged praise with none other than fellow WWE Hall of Famer and 2024 US Presidential candidate Donald Trump.
