Injured WWE Star Sends Warning To Current Champion

Injured WWE Star Sends Warning To Current Champion WWE

A currently injured WWE star has sent a warning to NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, teasing a future title match.

Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Championship from Lyra Valkyra at the April 6 Stand & Deliver event.

Cora Jade has now sent a message to Perez, hinting that the duo could clash later on in the year.

Replying to Perez’ tweet about her appearing with her title belt at Saturday’s house show in Orlando, Jade commented:

Keep it for 6 more months and you’re done for

WWE Women’s Champion Bayley appears to believe that Perez will have a lengthy title reign sharing Jade’s warning with the caption:

Done for? Someone tell her she’s just getting started

Jade and Perez were previously a team on WWE TV, ahead of Jade attacking Perez on the July 12, 2022 edition of NXT.

Cora Jade is currently recovering from an ACL injury she suffered in January. Her tweet confirms that she’s expecting to be out of action for six more months.

Perez will next defend her NXT Women’s Title at Tuesday’s (April 23) Spring Breakin’ special, against Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley in a three way match.

Paxley has responded to criticisms about her current character being a “waste of time”, which you can read more about right here.
