WWE star Baron Corbin has reacted to a pitch for him to face a current champion at an upcoming premium live event.
It was officially announced on Friday’s (March 15) edition of SmackDown that Logan Paul will defend his US Title against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 40.
With rumors swirling about this three-way bout, a Twitter user has shared an interesting pitch for a Logan Paul title bout following WrestleMania.
The pitch was for Paul to retain his gold at WrestleMania and defend against Baron Corbin at WWE Backlash in France.
Interested in competing at the May 4 international premium live event, Corbin said:
That would be so sick
Corbin notably received a huge reaction when competing at the April 29, 2023 house show in Paris, France, a reaction so surprising to Corbin it caused him to break character.
Baron Corbin has held the US Championship once before, for 70 days in late-2017.
The Lone Wolf is currently an NXT Tag Team Champion alongside new SmackDown star Bron Breakker.
