An update has emerged on WWE’s plans to host an international event with Supershow branding, with an event announced for July.

It was reported in May that WWE had plans to host multiple live events in Mexico, all centered around a featured “SuperShow Mexico” event.

Details have now emerged on plans for Supershow Mexico, with a graphic for this event shown in Arena Monterrey on Friday, June 13.

Luchablog notes that this graphic was shown amid a list of upcoming events slated for the venue, with Supershow Mexico advertised for July 27.

It’s currently unclear whether this event will be televised or not at the time of writing, however it’s worth noting that WWE has used the Supershow branding for house shows previously.

This comes after WWE Worlds Collide on June 7, the first major WWE and AAA joint show since the announcement that WWE was acquiring AAA in April.

That show was headlined by an AAA Mega Championship match, with El Hijo Del Vikingo defending his gold against Chad Gable.

WWE stars are also set to compete at AAA Triplemania Regia on Sunday, June 15, with Angel and Berto set to compete in the AAA Tag Team Championship fourway.
