An update has emerged on the WWE roster status of Paige, as well as that of AJ Lee and Nikki & Brie, the Bella Twins.

Paige made her return to WWE at WrestleMania 42, replacing the injured Nikki Bella in the Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way, teaming with Brie in a winning effort to become champions.

After Paige’s debut, she had been moved to the ‘current’ area of the WWE roster page, but she wasn’t listed on a specific brand nor in the free agents section.

Meanwhile, after their returns, the Bella Twins were both listed on the Raw roster.

AJ Lee was on the Raw roster as well after her own return last year including a Women’s Intercontinenta Title reign on the brand during her feud with Becky Lynch.

Now, the WWE roster page has been updated to reflect that Paige, both Bellas and Lee are all now featured on the free agents list.

The only other names who are listed as free agents are Oba Femi, Omos and Danhausen, and indicates that talent can appear on any brand – though as we know, WWE doesn’t exactly avoid that with talent who are signed to specific brands anyway.

Brock Lesnar was also in there previously but has since been moved to the alumni section after his apparent retirement at WrestleMania.

AJ Lee’s WWE Future

After her rivalry with Becky Lynch that culminated at WrestleMania, there seem to be some question marks over the WWE future of AJ Lee.

It appears there are no more immediate plans for Lee to feature on WWE TV, meaning she’ll likely be absent for a while.

Her being moved to the free agents section instead of the alumni section does, however, indicate she is still on the roster and under contract as opposed to leaving the company entirely, which would be the case if she was moved to alumni.
