Chelsea Green has provided a health update after recently undergoing a procedure for a long-standing heart condition.
Last competing in early February of this year, Chelsea Green has been out of action with an ankle injury following the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat match that would see Tiffany Stratton victorious.
While absent from in-ring action, Green confirmed that she underwent a medical procedure after doctors were able to catch her SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia) after ten years.
Speaking on Busted Open, Green provided an update on her health after medical professionals were able to treat the elusive condition, saying:
“I’ve got one more day of bed rest, then it’s taking it easy for another week.
“I’m feeling good. My wounds are healing, and my heart feels, like, heavy and my breathing is interesting, but we’re on the mend.”

Natalya would ask if Green will be going “back to work” following her recovery, with the former WWE Women’s United States Champion teasing with a smile, stating:
“Oh, you know I will. I already pitched for this week. I can call in.”
According to Mayo Clinic, Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT) “is a type of irregular heartbeat, also called an arrhythmia. It’s a very fast or erratic heartbeat that affects the heart’s upper chambers. SVT is also called paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.”
A Surprise Return, An Inaugural Championship, The Rise Of Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green was released from her WWE contract back in April 2021, returning at the Royal Rumble just under two years later.
A WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, her course would be derailed when her then-tag partner Sonya Deville suffered an ACL injury, leading to Piper Niven, who had previously been Doudrop, declaring that she was now the other half of the champions, and much hilarity ensued thanks to a partnership of very much not equals.
It’s an alliance that endures, with Niven a member of The Green Regime and being a Slaygent for the star. The other member of the collective, Alba Fyre, saw her time in WWE come to an end during the recent round of releases.
In late 2024, with the Women’s United States Championship having been revealed, Green entered the tournament to crown the inaugural title holder, among a number of stars from across the card, reaching the finals and defeating Michin to claim her first singles champion. Now a two-time champion, Green would lose the title to Giulia in January of this year, with Tiffany Stratton going on to claim the championship on the April 24 episode of SmackDown.
Green is a vocal advocate for self-owned creativity, previously revealing that she is “always pitching to creative“, acknowledging that she can’t control what happens to her career in WWE, but that there are aspects that she can direct.
When it comes to potential direction, there’s plenty of opportunity for a returning Green, still adored by the WWE fandom, to make her mark, perhaps even with a different championship in her sights.
