WWE star Chelsea Green has revealed today that she has undergone a heart procedure for SVT after doctors caught it after 10 years.
Green has been out of action with an ankle injury in recent weeks, suffering a broken ankle back in her Elimination Chamber qualifier against Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton back in February.
Chelsea Green Undergoes Heart Procedure For SVT
Chelsea has remained on television in a wheelchair since her injury, and she has now revealed she has undergone surgery for SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia).
Taking to Instagram, Chelsea revealed that doctors finally caught her SVT after 10 years, and she underwent a heart procedure for it.
She wrote:
After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done!
3 hours later and I’m on the mend.
We wish Chelsea all the best following her procedure.
What’s Next For Chelsea Green In WWE?
While Chelsea has not competed in a match since February, there has been a lot of changes to her presentation on television, mainly the release of Secret Hervice member Alba Fyre on April 24.
On this week’s show, the first show Chelsea appeared on since Alba’s release, she appeared by herself, attempting to form an alliance with new Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton, with Tiffany reluctant to do so.
Outside of Tiffany, there are other potential options for Chelsea to work with on the WWE main roster, the first being Ethan Page, who was a partner of Chelsea Green on NXT television last year, with the pair even winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship together before Page lost the titles alongside La Hiedra to Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice following Chelsea’s injury.
However, with Page on Raw and Chelsea on SmackDown, it would be difficult to put the pair together unless Chelsea is moved over to the Raw brand, though a potential replacement for Page alongside Chelsea could be new SmackDown call up Ricky Saints, who was a tag team partner of Ethan Page during their final weeks in NXT.
Finally, Chelsea’s husband Matt Cardona returned to the SmackDown brand back in January, with he and Chelsea yet to interact on WWE television, though they were a pairing on the independents prior to Chelsea re-signing with WWE in 2022.
