WWE Star Not Happy About Tag Partner Getting Big Singles Match WWE

WWE SmackDown star Isla Dawn has reacted to Alba Fyre being Shotzi’s replacement in this Friday’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match.

During the double-taping for WWE NXT, Shotzi suffered an injury that was described as a “freak accident” during her match against NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.

With Shotzi injured, WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis announced changes to the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches that will take place on the February 16 episode of the blue brand show.

Reacting to being overlooked as a replacement for the match in favor of her tag partner Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn tweeted:

“Not had a chance to watch this yet but been tagged so many times!

“I can only imagine @RealNickAldis is finally being reasonable and making up for the Royal Rumble fiasco! 😈

“50 seconds is a little shorter than I’d like for an apology video but I’ll take it Nick!”

Dawn was not in the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match despite Fyre being in, finding out the news from Aldis himself when it came to picking entrance numbers.

She would apparently have time to watch the video, as she would later tweet:

“The woman was too stunned to speak.”

Dawn wouldn’t leave it there, though, taking time to once again criticize Aldis for his attitude towards her, stating:

“I can’t believe I’ve been walking about with my invisibility cloak on this whole time and no one told me. How embarrassing!

“Clearly @RealNickAldis just hasn’t seen me? That’s the only reasonable explanation I can think of.”

With her tag team partner now set to face Naomi, the other women’s qualifying match will see Zelina Vega taking on Tiffany Stratton.

The winners of the qualifying matches will join Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan and one more participant to be determined at the February 24 premium live event in Perth, Australia.
