WWE Issues Update On Sasha Banks

WWE has issued an update on Sasha Banks after she was attacked by Bayley once again during last night’s episode of SmackDown.

Banks was sat in the Performance Center cutting a to-camera promo when she was ambushed from behind by the SmackDown Women’s Champion.

WWE has taken to Twitter to issue an update on Banks, writing:

UPDATE: @SashaBanksWWE was shaken up in last night’s attack by @itsBayleyWWE, but no further injuries were sustained.

This came two weeks after Bayley snapped and turned on Sasha Banks following another loss to Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler.

Bayley defends her title against Nikki Cross at Clash of Champions on September 27 so it remains to be seen when we’ll get the eventual match between the former tag team partners.
