Baron Corbin has now commented after taking second place in his Jiu Jitsu World League Florida VI tournament.
Corbin, under his real name Tom Pestock, competed in this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competition Saturday (February 24), in the Adults & Masters Vi Gi division.
The WWE star ultimately came second, defeating Michael Crimeni 2-0, before losing to Gustavo Garofalo in the gold medal match.
Corbin has now taken to Instagram with a photo of himself on the medals podium, which you can view below.
Wanting to win gold in the next tournament, Corbin captioned his post:
Obviously not the result I wanted last night! Lost 2-0 on points in the finals. @the305mvp put it in perspective and said “You win or you learn. What did you learn?”
I defn learned a few things and will get back in the Lab and work! The work is never done! @rudos_bjj already has a plan.
We all stumble and it should push us to get better. I’m taking home another gold in the next tournament. I hope the guy who beat me is there so I can get it back. Let’s go!
Corbin previously placed first at the December 2023 Jiu Jitsu World League III Gi finals.
The WWE star currently holds the NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Bron Breakker, who recently signed with the SmackDown brand.
