WWE Judgment Day Member Leaving Update

The latest update has emerged on a member of the Judgment Day potentially leaving the group after recent developments on WWE TV.

On January in Belfast, CM Punk retained the World Heavyweight Championship on WWE Raw in the main event against Finn Balor.

After the match, Punk and Balor shared respect for one another and it looked as though it could have been the start of a babyface turn for Balor.

Balor had even used his original WWE entrance music for the match – granted, being from Ireland, he was guaranteed a babyface response.

The following week, Punk and Balor spoke backstage and once again exchanged pleasantries, with Punk encouraging Balor to ditch Judgment Day.

Balor seemed open to the idea, but later in the night, he attacked Punk after Punk had a match against AJ Styles, cementing that he had not taken Punk’s advice and was firmly remaining a heel.

Now, Balor is set for a championship rematch against Punk at WWE Elimination Chamber in a couple of weeks, which takes place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.

Today, Balor posted a photo on social media of the moment he and Punk shared a hug in the ring – although as the photo shows, Punk is hugging Balor while Balor isn’t necessarily returning the favor.

Balor captioned the post: “What do you notice?” – and he got responses from Punk and fellow Judgment Day member JD McDonagh.

Punk stated: “I have the belt,” while McDonagh wrote: “Weakness.”

While Balor remains a heel and remains in the Judgment Day, there do still seem to be some simmering issues between himself and the other members – particularly Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio – which could come to a head soon.
