A WWE legend’s nephew is set to make their in-ring AEW debut on this Saturday’s edition of Collision from Vancouver, CN (May 11).
Despite a three hour double taping of AEW Collision and Rampage booked in for the fans inside Rogers Arena, very little had been announced for the show just a few days prior.
Now, following AEW Dynamite we know that we will be seeing Adam Copeland defend his TNT Championship against Kyle O’Reilly in the Cope Open and now, we have another match announcement courtesy of AEW President Tony Khan.
Taking to Twitter, Khan made the surprising announcement that the nephew of former WWE Tag Team Champion The Dynamite Kid will be making his in-ring AEW debut against FTR’s Dax Harwood.
Billed as ‘Dynamite Kid’ Tommy Billington, the 23-year-old will be making his first appearance for AEW, having previously worked for six years on the Canadian independent scene as well as in the United Kingdom.
As well as competing as a singles star, Billington also competes alongside his brother Mark as The Billington Bulldogs.
