VIDEO: WWE Star Reveals Hilarious Reason He Loves London WWE

WWE’s European Tour stopped off in London on October 29 and Santos Escobar has revealed the reason he loves England’s capital city.

In a video from before the show, Escobar was seen with the fans at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England.

As can be seen from the video below, Escobar starts by saying:

“I heard these people had a car and then they sold it, but to whom?”

And, this would be lead to a mainstay of British wrestling fans at live shows, with their penchant for peculiar chants, this time offering:

“Just sold my car… to Santos Escobar.”

The chant mirrors the advert for the company We Buy Any Car which ran an advert featuring the “Just sold my car” tune and TikTok star Mufasa.

If you’re not familiar with that advertising campaign, you can see it below this news story.

Courtesy of Wrestlezone, results for the October 29 show are also below:

The LWO had a mixed evening at the OVO Arena Wembley with Escobar defeating Karrion Kross but Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro losing to Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).

Elsewhere on the card, The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland & Butch) defeated The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford).

Fans also got to see Shotzi defeat Bayley, and Grayson Waller lose to Bobby Lashley, as well as a street fight between Solo Sikoa and LA Knight with the Bloodline member being on the losing side of that match.

IYO SKY retained the WWE Women’s Championship in her match against Charlotte Flair.
