WWE Runs A Masked Attacker Angle At A House Show WWE

WWE ran a masked attacker angle at a house show this weekend.

Over the past few months, WWE NXT has been running a mystery attacker angle with various beatdowns in the infamous NXT parking lot and backstage area on the likes of Nikkita Lyons, Wendy Choo and Sol Ruca.

On the May 9 edition of NXT, there was a vignette that aired with the mystery assailant watching footage of all the attacks from the past few weeks.

At a recent NXT live event in Sebring, Florida, Dani Palmer was attacked by a hooded individual after her victory over Stevie Turner.

The masked figure escaped before security could break up the beating with the attacker’s identity still unknown.

Here’s a rundown of what happened on the May 9 episode of NXT:

Tiffany Stratton def. Gigi Dolin in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament

Duke Hudson def. Javier Bernal

Eddy Thorpe def. Damon Kemp

Ilja Dragunov def. Dijak via DQ when Dijak attacked Dragunov with a steel chair and continued the attack post-match

Charlie Dempsey w/Drew Gulak def. Tyler Bate w/Wes Lee after Joe Gacy came out and punched Bate

Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen def. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Lyra Valkyria def. Kiana James in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament

Bron Breakker def. Trick Williams, then continued to attack Williams post-match before Carmelo Hayes tried to make the save, but Breakker laid him out as well
