WWE Mystery Finally Revealed

An ongoing WWE mystery that first began over the Summer of 2023 in NXT has been revealed as fans finally have answers.

Several months ago, there was an ‘ongoing investigation’ into Andre Chase of Chase U for ‘illegal activities’.

While it seemed to be revealed that the leader of Chase U had accrued a large gambling debt, the origins of the debt were never shared.

Rather fans were left to speculate whether or not Chase had picked up a gambling habit from Duke Hudson.

However on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, the backstory was finally revealed as Jacy Jayne crashed a ceremony honoring Kelani Jordan and Fallon Henley.

While the sweet scene started as a congratulations to the aforementioned pair who teamed with Thea Hail at NXT Stand & Deliver, it was crashed by Jacy Jayne.

Jayne would go on to reveal that the reason Chase was in such debt was from making a bet on Thea Hail’s match at The Great American Bash.

Back in July 2023, Chase ‘threw in the towel’ and submitted on behalf of Hail in a submission match against then NXT Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton.

Taking to Twitter during the show, Chase revealed his perspective on Jacy Jayne’s revelation, writing:

“I knew throwing in the towel would cost me everything..

“But in that moment at The Great American Bash, all I could think about was Thea’s safety and all of the accomplishments she might not achieve if she risked injury in the submission match.

“I’d bet on her over and over again. That’s how much I believe in @theahail_wwe

Thea Hail has yet to reveal her perspective beyond demanding to know if the situation was true and then storming out of the Chase U classroom on tonight’s episode of NXT.
