WWE Releases New Cody Rhodes Shirt Following The Rock & Roman Reigns Segment

WWE has released a new Cody Rhodes shirt following The Rock & Roman Reigns controversial segment on SmackDown.

On the February 2 edition of SmackDown,WWE made it clear that it had changed plans from Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes in the WrestleMania main event to Roman Reigns vs The Rock instead.

This has led to a major online backlash – not limited to just social media, but also coverage from mainstream media outlets such as TMZ and USA Today regarding the fan fury.

Coming off the heels of this response, the company have released a very interesting new shirt.

On February 5, WWE released a brand new Cody Rhodes shirt reading, “Claim Your Kingdom” with “The American Nightmare” logo and his dog Pharoah on the front.

Rhodes is currently WWE’s top merchandise seller and top babyface in the company.

“The American Nightmare” is set to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bullrope Match on tonight’s February 5 episode of WWE Raw.
