WWE’s Next Plans For Monumental Roman Reigns Push

The next step WWE is looking to take in the monumental push of Roman Reigns looks to have been revealed as per a new report.

Roman Reigns has won every match he’s had this year and shows no sign of letting up, as he has broken merchandise records and become the big star WWE always hoped he would be.

However, according to WrestlingNews.co, WWE wants to take it a step further, and doesn’t just want Reigns to be the top star on the current day roster.

The site is reporting that WWE is looking to build Reigns as the “greatest of all time”.

The process of moving towards that goal began on this past Friday’s SmackDown when Reigns called himself the “greatest of all time” during his promo that opened the show.

Part of the plan is also for Reigns to break the longest Universal Championship reign record, which is currently held by Brock Lesnar.

Reigns’ ongoing reign is currently at 420 days (nice), while Lesnar’s record is 503 days when he held it from April 2017 until August 2018.

Lesnar isn’t scheduled to wrestle again until Royal Rumble, so the storyline suspension he received on SmackDown this past Friday serves as the storyline explanation for his absence until then, where he’s probably going to challenge Reigns for the title again.
