WWE NXT Star Has ‘Different Mindset’ Following Draft

WWE NXT Star Has ‘Different Mindset’ Following Draft WWE

The 2023 WWE Draft is officially in the books, with all three WWE brands undergoing major change.

Change came to NXT in the form of call ups, with many NXT names leaving the show for either Raw or SmackDown, including both the NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell and the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.

Alba and Isla are set for their final match on NXT on tonight’s show, where they will defend the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter, who also received a call up in the draft, with them heading to Raw.

With uncertainty around the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship’s future, now could be the time that a new duo could burst onto the scene and take the titles.

Lash Legend has recently been teaming with Jakara Jackson on NXT Level Up, and she took to Twitter earlier today to tease that the Draft was ‘eye opening’, and that it was time for her to step up.

She said:

Woke up this morning with a different mindset. #WWEDraft was truly eye opening last night. Congrats to the Superstars that were drafted NOW, time for Lash to do her thang!

The full list of NXT call ups in the Draft saw Indi Hartwell, Katana Chance, Kayden Carter, Apollo Crews, JD McDonagh, Zoey Stark, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga and Odyssey Jones head to Raw, Grayson Waller, Cameron Grimes, Pretty Deadly, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn go to SmackDown, and Von Wagner and Xyon Quinn becoming free agents.
