WWE has announced a change to a previously marquee championship match, originally scheduled for next month.
On tonight’s edition (December 13) of WWE NXT, a big championship match was rescheduled – for later tonight!
After the first ever winner of the Iron Survivor Challenge match, Roxanne Perez, kicked off NXT she was rudely interrupted by the second winner, Grayson Waller.
While the pair traded barbs back and forth, including an appearance from “Bronathan” as Waller referred to Bron Breakker, their brawling seemed to be the end of the segment.
That was until Mandy Rose attacked from behind, laying out Roxanne Perez.
While the perpetual motion of NXT didn’t stop for Perez long, featuring a backstage bit of JD McDonagh showing off his medical knowledge and mocking Julius Creed, we spun back to the ring for a challenge.
A dishevelled Roxanne Perez challenged Mandy Rose for her NXT Women’s Championship match tonight in lieu of waiting until New Year’s Evil on January 11th, 2023.
In possibly unrelated but usually not news, scoopmeister himself SRS has Tweeted this gif of Mandy Rose so… is a main roster graduation by way of belt drop in the cards?
The match was shortly thereafter made official for tonight.
