Top Star Opens Up About WWE Leaving Them Off WrestleMania 40 Banner WWE

Bayley has opened up about being left off recent banners for WrestleMania 40, despite being set to compete in a top title match at the event.

After winning the Royal Rumble in January, Bayley announced on the February 2 edition of SmackDown that she’ll be challenging for IYO SKY’s WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40.

The Rumble winner recently pointed out that she wasn’t featured on the WrestleMania 40 banner. While her response was lighthearted at the time, Bayley has since stated that omissions like that fuel her.

Speaking with The Bump (ahead of her Damage CTRL betraying her), Bayley said:

“Yeah, it really, I hate to say that it gets to me, but it’s been happening way too often. They just posted a WrestleMania banner, and I’m not on it. They put freaking Bianca (on it). You know who eliminated Bianca? Bayley.

“I set a damn record. What else do I have to do? Those things fuel me to do what I did on Saturday, to make history. So if they don’t want to put me on a poster until I make it into the freaking Hall of Fame, then fine.

“I’ll wait for it. Because I don’t need them, I don’t need the sheep, I don’t need anybody. I just need my Damage CTRL and I need my beautiful heart and soul and my vision to never give up, John Cena.”

Bayley was betrayed by Damage CTRL on SmackDown, with IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane attacking her, before she fought them off with a steel pipe.

Dakota Kai has now commented on Damage CTRL’s implosion, which you can read more about right here.
