Little is known about an upcoming new WWE brand, but a main roster star is open to the idea of wrestling on it already!
Triple H recently spoke about NXT Europe and the WWE’s work to engage with elite athletes in the UK to build the new brand that was announced following the NXT UK hiatus of August 2022.
Now, a former NXT UK star who made her way straight the UK brand to the main roster has spoken of her ambitions for the brand.
Piper Niven (formerly Doudrop) recently spoke to My San Antonio about NXT UK, saying:
“NXT UK will always be a huge part of my heart and I feel like that show was so amazing.
“It produced so many great matches, and I know everyone put their heart and soul into it.”
She would then turn her attention to the plans for NXT Europe, concluding:
“I know that will be the case with NXT Europe. I am looking forward to having more people involved in it and it having more eyes on it.
“Hopefully I can visit some people and even have some matches.”
Niven returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble, bringing her old NXT ring-name back with her.
The Doudrop name was the cause of some bewilderment among fans of Piper Niven, including former WWE star Taya Valkyrie.
In case you missed it, a full list of the entrants in the Royal Rumble, along with those who were surprises, can be found here.
She had recently addressed the health scare that had kept her away from WWE television.
