An interesting update has emerged on a potential WWE signing ahead of this weekend’s WrestleMania 40 premium live event.
With former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia recently becoming a free agent, speculation about her next move has picked up.
Tokyo Sports now reports that Giulia was spotted at an airport on Wednesday (April 3).
While Giulia said she was headed to the Himalayas when asked where she was going, the report noted that she boarded a plane to the US.
Tokyo Sports wrote that there’s a “high possibility” that Giulia will be in attendance at WrestleMania 40, which will emanate from the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday and Sunday.
WWE will also be holding a big NXT premium live event, Stand & Deliver, earlier in the day on the Saturday.
As reported in early-February, Giulia is expected to delay her WWE start to help Rossy Ogawa establish his new promotion following Ogawa’s firing from STARDOM.
Giulia recently appeared for Pro Wrestling NOAH on April 1 on her first official day as a free agent. During this appearance she announced that she’ll be in action at the company’s May 4 show.
Previous reports indicated that Giulia wrestling for NOAH is part of a strategy to launch Rossy Ogawa’s new promotion.
We will continue to provide updates on Giulia’s status as they become available.
