WWE Star Praises Raw In-Ring Moment: ‘One Of The Most Mechanically Impressive Moves I’ve Seen In A Minute’

A WWE star has praised Dragon Lee following Raw, calling a spot from his match one of the most mechanically impressive moves he’s seen in a while.

Dragon Lee faced off against Rey Fenix in the semifinals of the World Heavyweight Championship #1 contender’s tournament on Monday’s (August 24) Raw episode.

During the bout, Lee performed a tope cannonball dive, jumping through the ropes from the ring onto Rey Fenix who was on the announce table.

While the star ultimately came up short, Dragon Lee did earn praise from a  fans and wrestlers alike, with Logan Paul highlighting the difficulty of the dive he completed.

Logan Paul took to Twitter to comment on this spot, writing:

This is one of the most mechanically impressive moves I’ve seen in a minute

In a wrestling landscape where it’s common to see multiple dives out of the ring per show, it can be easy for the untrained eye to overlook the skill it takes to perform such a maneuver.

The Dragon Lee spot was complex as it required Lee to dive far enough out to reach Fenix on the announce table, time the rotation so that his body wouldn’t catch the ropes, but so that he’d also complete the turn before connecting, and maintain enough elevation to hit Fenix who was higher up because of the desk.

This is a case of “game recognises game”, with Logan Paul having performed numerous aerial and springboard dives, so understands what it takes to successfully connect.

While teaming with John Cena against Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank 2025 for example, Paul successfully hit a springboard moonsault from the second rope on the outside of the ring to Jey on the announcer’s table.

For both this and his Royal Rumble elimination escape, Paul detailed in vlogs how he had to practice jumping the distance from the ring to the announce table before even attempting the moves.

Paul is currently out of action, recovering from a torn tricep injury he suffered in May. His vision teammate Bronson Reed is also out with a torn bicep, but is reportedly “very close” to making a return.
