A currently absent WWE star is reportedly “very close” to making his return from injury according to a new backstage report.

Back on the February 23, 2026 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, The Vision’s Bronson Reed suffered a torn bicep during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match also featuring Jey Uso and ‘Original’ El Grande Americano.

It was reported shortly after the injury happened that Bronson Reed was originally scheduled to win that match and proceed to the Elimination Chamber, however, the winner was changed to Jey Uso mid-match after the Australian star’s injury.

Since being sidelined, Reed has been documenting his progress as he works towards his return and appears to be in the best physical shape of his career based off his recent social media posts.

With six months now passing since his last match, PWInsider Elite have shared an update on Reed’s WWE plans, revealing that The Vision star is “very close” to making his return.

Some within WWE reportedly believe that Reed will be back in the ring by next month, possibly as soon as Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, GA on September 6.

As noted in PWInsider’s update, Bron Breakker is set to take on Oba Femi in a first-time ever singles match at that event, so many would presume that Reed could get involved in that match if he was to return at the show.

We will provide an update on Reed’s return from injury as more information becomes available.

The Vision Finally Set To Return To Full Strength

Ever since the group’s former leader Seth Rollins was struck down with a shoulder injury at the height of his World Heavyweight Championship run last October, The Vision have had a run of extreme misfortune when it comes to injuries.

Rollins’ replacement as leader of The Vision: Bron Breakker suffered a hernia on the Raw after the 2026 Royal Rumble, derailing apparent plans for a grudge match with Rollins at WrestleMania 42.

As mentioned, less than a month after Breakker’s injury, The Vision’s next most tenured member Bronson Reed suffered a torn bicep. And then, three months after that, Logan Paul tore his tricep during he and Austin Theory’s World Tag Team Title match with the Street Profits at the May 23 Saturday Night’s Main Event.

With Logan Paul seemingly making good progress in his rehab, and The Vision further strengthening their numbers with the addition of Maxxine Dupri, Reed’s imminent return could finally give WWE a full strength Vision for the first time since January.

What is less certain is whether The Vision’s Oracle Paul Heyman will be sticking around for this rebuild, as the WWE Hall of Famer has been distancing himself from the group for much of the year as he focused on Brock Lesnar and his feud with Oba Femi.
