WWE star Jacob Fatu has teased missing his upcoming match scheduled for Monday Night Raw, noting that he’s in a completely different state.

Ahead of the July 20 show at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce shared a mini-preview video, announcing several segments for the show.

One of the announced matches was Jacob Fatu vs LA Knight, which notably would’ve been a rematch from WrestleMania 41.

Jacob Fatu has now taken to social media to react to this video, stating that he’s loyal to the OTC, not Adam Pearce.

Stating that he was heading to California, Fatu wrote:

Jacob Fatu has since shared that he’s in San Francisco, tweeting:

WWE hasn’t shared any further updates on Jacob Fatu’s status, and hasn’t canceled this match at the time of writing.

With Jacob Fatu referencing his new allegiance to Roman Reigns, this could be part of the ongoing storyline, with Fatu finding his place in the Bloodline.

It has been speculated that Fatu’s posts are an in-storyline ruse so that he can catch LA Knight off guard with an ambush when he does ultimately appear on the show.

Fatu is slated to team with The Usos to face Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys at SummerSlam.

The former WWE US Champion acknowledged Reigns as his Tribal Chief after losing to the World Heavyweight Champion in Tribal Combat at Clash In Italy on May 31.
